AIROC™ BLUETOOTH® & BLUETOOTH LE Modules

Infineon Technologies AIROC™ BLUETOOTH® and BLUETOOTH LE Modules assist users in developing Internet of Things (IoT) design quickly and efficiently. These modules greatly reduce development risk and accelerate time to market. Additionally, the modules are qualified by Bluetooth SIG and have received regulatory certification approval from organizations like FCC, ISED, MIC, and CE. This allows users to focus on creating unique IoT applications without worrying about the complexities of board bring-up, RF/spec testing, performance testing, and regulatory testing.

WICED IOT Platform

Infineon Technologies WICED IoT Platform is a portfolio of wireless technologies ranging from Wi-Fi® and BLUETOOTH® to microcontrollers (MCU) built specifically for the IoT. These design-ready, secure products streamline and simplify designs. Infineon has over 20 ecosystem partners working to crack persistent design problems.

IoT BLUETOOTH® Modules

Infineon Technologies IoT BLUETOOTH® Modules provide the broadest BLUETOOTH® module portfolio for various next-generation IoT applications. These modules are fully certified, fully integrated, programmable modules designed for ease of use with Dual-Mode and BLE-only options available. Whether an IoT design requires a small module footprint, extended operating temperature, cost-optimization, or long-range communication, Cypress can provide a BLUETOOTH® Module solution to reduce time-to-market for developers.

PSOC™ 4 Arm® Cortex®-M0 Microcontrollers

Infineon Technologies PSOC™ 4 Arm® Cortex®-M0 Microcontrollers feature the low-power Cortex-M0 core combined with PSOC's programmable mixed-signal hardware IP, resulting in a flexible and scalable low-power mixed-signal architecture. Combine the PSOC 4 with PSOC Creator™ to create unique designs, shorten development schedules, and accelerate time-to-market. Functions such as capacitive touch, analog sensor integration, and wireless connectivity are integrated and optimized in PSOC 4. The Infineon PSOC Creator IDE software is an easy-to-use IDE that introduces a schematic entry design methodology. This software can also be used to develop with the programmable PSOC 4 architecture and configure peripherals such as capacitive sensing, programmable analog block, programmable digital blocks, and wired/wireless connectivity.

Wireless Ecosystem

Wireless technologies like Wi-Fi® for wireless local area networks (WLAN), BLUETOOTH® technology for content streaming, and Bluetooth low energy technology for ultra-low-power connectivity form the backbone of IoT. Infineon Technologies seamlessly integrates all these technologies to provide state-of-the-art, interoperable solutions for consumer, industrial, medical, automotive, and other applications. Infineon’s wireless technology is built from intellectual property (IP) deployed in all mainstream application segments and meets the industry specifications. These technologies can be found in the modules through the various partners below, as well as associated various SOCs. Time to market can be accelerated using one of the many wireless products from Infineon Technologies below.

PSOC™ 4 BLE Modules

Infineon Technologies PSOC™ 4 BLE Modules are ideal for IoT applications requiring a small module footprint, cost optimization, extended operating temperature, and long-range communication. These certified programmable module solutions are easy to use and have a small 10mm x 10mm x 1.8mm footprint. The modules feature long-range BLE options for up to 400 meters of line-of-sight communication.
