Nanopower Semiconductor nPZero G1S ICs

Nanopower Semiconductor nPZero G1S ICs are Power-Saving ICs (PSICs) that enable ultra-low power autonomous operation in sensor-based systems. These ICs power down the MCU and sensors, autonomously poll up to four I2C or SPI sensors, process sensor data, and wake the MCU when required. The PZero G1S ICs reduce unnecessary MCU and peripheral activity, potentially reducing system power consumption by up to 90% in suitable duty-cycled applications. These ICs offer an idle current of just 100nA and a typical polling current of 1µA, and provide 128-byte SRAM for sensor configuration and data. The PZero G1S ICs support a supply voltage range of 1.7V to 3.6V and feature an optional external 32.768kHz crystal for higher timing accuracy. Typical applications include battery-powered IoT devices, energy-harvesting IoT devices, wireless sensor nodes, environmental monitoring, asset tracking and logging, smart buildings, and smart cities.
