Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated TMC2209-LA Stepper Motor Driver IC
Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated TMC2209-LA Motor Driver IC is designed for two-phase stepper motors with up to 2.8A coil-current (peak) and 2ARMS phase-current handling capabilities. This ultra-silent motor driver IC exhibits voltage-chopper-based proprietary StealthChop2™ silent-drive technology to ensure noiseless operation, maximum efficiency, and best motor torque. The TMC2209 Motor Driver also offers technologies like SpreadCycle™ and StallGuard4™ for high-precision cycle-by-cycle current control and sensorless homing respectively. This device covers various applications, from battery systems to embedded applications with up to 2A motor current per coil. The TMC2209-LA Motor Driver is ideally suited for 3D printers, POS, office and home automation, textiles sewing machines, CCTVs, security, ATMs, HVAC, and battery-operated equipment.
