Vishay General Semiconductor SMC5KxCA TRANSZORB® Transient Voltage Suppressors

Vishay General Semiconductor SMC5KxCA TRANSZORB® Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) are bidirectional diodes. These TVS diodes operate at 5000W Peak pulse power (PPPM) at 10/1000μs, 40kW PPPM at 8/20μs, and are available in the SMC (DO-214AB) package. The SMC5KxCA TVS diodes feature excellent clamping capability, very fast response time, and low incremental surge resistance. These diodes are used in applications such as sensitive electronics protection against voltage transients on ICs, MOSFETs, signal lines of sensor units, computers, industrial, and telecommunication.
