The Asahi Kasei Infrared LED Elements include an internal mid-infrared photodiode for thermal compensations purposes.

The technology delivers wavelength sensitivity control for the optimum gas absorption wavelength band, high-speed response, and high Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR).
