Microchip Technology PCI12000C 3-Port PCIe Switch is a compact, single‑chip, three‑port PCIe switch that incorporates integrated programmable I/O. The Microchip PCI12000C features PCIe physical interfaces that provide one 2‑lane (2×8GT/s) upstream port and two 1‑lane (1×8GT/s) downstream ports, offering a maximum line rate of 8GT/s. Designed to meet increasing bandwidth demands in embedded PCIe subsystems, the device allows the upstream PCIe link to operate over one or multiple lanes for optimal system‑level flexibility. Internally, the switch implements a fully compliant PCIe architecture spanning the external physical interfaces, switch fabric, and endpoint controllers.
